Nia Long is keeping busy! Fresh off the success of Best Man Holiday, the 43-year-old actress has landed a new starring role on WEtv’s first original scripted series.

According to Deadline, the mother of two has joined the cast of “The Divide,” a legal thriller centered around District Attorney Adam Page, played by Damon Gupton, “who uncovers new evidence that prompts the re-investigation of a sensational murder case.” Long will play the DA’s hard-charging wife named Billie Page.

During an exclusive interview with Hello Beautiful last month, the Hollywood starlet said she juggles her career and family life by doing whatever “is necessary in the moment.”

“If it’s the kids the need attention. I take care of that…My brain is like split in half. Half is for myself and half is for the kids,” she explained. “And I think that is a mother’s journey to make sure that they come first but to never loose yourself in the process.”

Sources say production for Long’s new show is currently underway in Toronto.
