Tyrese is busy promoting his “final” album Black Rose. He isn’t doing so by just a radio run or social media promotion. Rather, he’s doing so by acting a fool.

The singer/actor decided to take the MTA train and cause a ruckus by pretending to be busking: “My name is Tyrese. I’m a singer. I left all of the major record labels so I could do my thing as an independent artist.

“I’m independent. I’m grassroots! I’m in these streets,” he says, security backing him.

The whole thing is actually a pretty enjoyable publicity stunt, though. Tyrese’s plea turns into a parody of itself as it turns into a series of aggressive daps and dancing. Picture the hardest thug posted up by a wall before he starts two-stepping to Bell Biv Devoe as he yells, “This is my s**t!” This whole thing is kind of like that.

Tyrese also promoted Black Rose with the help of a sleeping (well, hopefully just sleeping) homeless woman.

Please buy Black Rose so Tyrese can stop acting a fool.
