Former talk show host Arsenio Hall isn’t here for singer Sinead O’Connor or her recent comments accusing him of supplying Prince with drugs before his deathHe has filed a $5 million dollar defamation lawsuit against her, TMZ reported.

The celebrity website wrote that Hall’s lawyers filed the suit on Thursday morning, calling O’Connor a “desperate attention-seeker” for posting a “rant” on Facebook earlier this week where she claimed that Prince was a “longtime hard drug user” who got his supply from “Arsenio Hall.”

She also wrote on her social media account, “Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County [Sheriff’s] office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie [Murphy’s] house. You best get tidying your man cave.”

However in his suit, Hall denies ever giving Prince illegal drugs and drugging O’Connor.

O’Conner’s accusations came soon after it was reported that when the iconic singer was found dead in Paisley Park, there were painkillers in his possession, US Weekly wrote. And according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the musician allegedly had Percocet in his system, but that has yet to be proven given that the results of his toxicology report have yet to be released.

Last week, police were granted a surprise warrant and raided a Minnesota Walgreen’s pharmacy as part of their ongoing investigation of singer Prince’s death. Reports state that the investigators spent a few hours looking through the pharmacy’s records to see which doctors may have been involved, certain drugs prescribed and fake names potential uses.

This story is developing and we will provide updates as they become available.
